Slow boat trip upstream Mekong river from Luang Prabang to Houixai & Chiang Khong from 6th to 10th Jan 2012 - part one.
We went up the Mekong river from Luang Prabang. As we had time before we met the European Arts group in Houixai we
wanted to go slow and see the life and environment along the way. We stopped on the village beach for overnight the
first night. Then we took a truck at Taxaung to Hong Sa for another night there.
On the third night we arrived at Pakbeng.
